With a trade share of 11.1% over the last two weeks, Tuscany outperformed both the prior week and its average March market share. Sales of Ornellaia Bolgheri from 2001 and 1996 as well as Tenuta San Guido’s Bolgheri Sassicaia from 1999 and 2007 were the main drivers.

The value of Bordeaux trade surged in the first two weeks of April, exceeding its market share from March and accounting for 43.6% of all trade.

All other regions experienced their trade share decline when compared to the final week of March and remain below their March market share. The USA’s share somewhat recovered, increasing to 4.1%.
